I’m Leslie Smith, a Dyslexia Specialist, special education teacher, and reading tutor, and my mission is to take the stress, confusion, and frustration out of your child’s reading journey – for them and for you.
Why Literacy Superstars?
At Literacy Superstars, we believe that every child deserves to feel like a reading champion. But for many kids, reading doesn’t come easily—especially those with dyslexia or other reading difficulties. Without the right support, struggling readers fall farther behind and start to feel defeated. That’s why I created this space—to empower parents with information and research-backed strategies, and offer direct support through Dyslexia Therapy combined with parent coaching.

Any student who is lucky enough to have Mrs. Smith in their corner is already a winner. She met our daughter where she was at, understood her strengths and challenges, and proceeded to lean in to help her grow not only as a reader/student, but as a person.
